About Consideration of the Human Factor during Analysis of Hazardous Production Facilities Safety
S.V. Petrin, L.S. Petrina
The review is given of the main methods of human factor effect during risk estimation of hazardous production facilities. The algorithm of personnel reliability assessment ATHEANARUS was proposed for analysis of personnel actions at non-typical situations. Recommendations are given for selecting personnel reliability parameters.
Increase of Environmental Safety during Combustible Shales Field Development
A.E. Vorobyev, G.Zh. Moldabayeva, R.B. Dzhimiyeva
Absolute volumes of combustible shales stock in the world are shown in the Article. Main environmental problems of combustible shale fields development by conventional technologies (underground and open methods) are characterized in the Article. Proposed innovative environmentally friendly technologies of combustible shales thermal destruction into synthetic crude oil at the place of bed position in the lithosphere are reviewed.
About Possible Causes of Accident at Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydro-Electric Power Station
G.A. Pak, V.N. Dolgonosov
In the Article the hypothesis was put forward that the main reason of the accident occurred at Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydro-Electric Power Station on August 17, 2009 — feedback of the rock mass to long-term mechanical effect during construction and operation of the station. Colossal potential energy accumulated in the bedding rock of the dam site had deformed the concrete sarcophagus of the base resulted in partially or fully «sealed» discharge at the bottom of the dam, and the energy of falling water column from the height of more than 200 m with the mass nearly 10 thousand tones had «brought out» the large-tonnage aggregate to the machine hall of the station.
Some Aspects of Physical Processes during Performance of Mining Works at Chlorhydric Mines
B.V. Laptev
The fact was established of the seasonal distribution of gas-dynamic events in saliferous rocks, and their dependence on the climatic parameters of mine atmosphere. Field studies had recorded not only the change of stressed-deformed state of the rocks in front of the moving face, but also of the temperature field.
Continuous Action Equipment for Processing Loose Materials at the Foundry and in the Ore Mining Industry
K.H. Berdyev, V.S. Doroshenko
Principle diagrams of the equipment for processing loose materials, in particular, silica sand and the other moulding, or ore mining loose material are reviewed in the Article. This is the feed through type equipment; it has a number of new technical decisions at the level of inventions; it differs by the possibility of isolating dusty processes from the shop working environment, as well as by installing in the continuous action line preferably outside the shop. Its use is recommended for foundry in the sand regeneration and circulating lines, for producing construction materials, and for other processes where disperse loose materials are used.
Factors Effect on the Initial Field of Stresses in the Area of Abakanskiy Iron-Ore Deposit Field
N. I. Sinkevich
The research results of stressed-deformed state of three shafts during their sinking showed that the tectonic forces create inhomogeneous field of stresses in the massif at the deep horizons of Abakansliy field. New resultant stresses were identified in vicinity of shafts.
The Mechanism of Sudden Outburst Development based on the «Fragmentation Wave» Type
Yu. M. Biryukov, R.R. Khodzhayev
The mechanism of sudden coal and gas outburst development based on the «fragmentation wave» type is examined in the Article. The maximum and the minimum speed of the fragmentation wave are determined depending on the coal porosity and gas pressure in the massif.
Specifics of Technical Devices Industrial Safety Expertise Conducted during Receipt of Permit for their Use
S.I. Zlobin, O.A. Kuzmin, A.N. Volobuyev, V.N. Pavlov, V.A. Fedorinin
The issues are reviewed related to the assessment of technical documentation submitted by the applicants during execution of permits for use of technical devices. Specifics of design and documentation expertise conducting for fabrication of technical devices used at hazardous production facilities; the requirements of regulatory documents on industrial safety during similar expertise conducting in different types of supervision are analyzed in the Article.
Design of Uniform Strength Beams and their Attachment Points
L.P. Shmulenson, O.V. Mirintsov
The Article examines the calculation of overhead travelling cranes beams of uniform strength with variable height, and the economically justifiable parameters of these beams are defined as compared to the standard beams. The second part of the Article is devoted to the calculation of beams end attachment points, selection of beams and determination of the required moment of high strength bolts tightening up based on the actual conditions of their work in case of the complicated resistance.
Comparing the Results of Calculations of the Consequences of Emergency Discharge of Dangerous Substances according to the software systems TOXI+ and PHAST
M.V. Lisanov, K.V. Yefremov, S.I. Sumskoy, V.A. Panteleyev
The article presents the comparative analysis of the calculations of the consequences of emergency discharge of dangerous substances made according to the software products TOXI+, TOXI+Risk developed by the specialists of the Closed Stock Company STC IS, and PHAST, SAFETI, developed by the firm Det Norske Veritas.
About Some Methods of Evaluating the Frequency of Accidents at Main Pipelines when Calculating Risk of Fire
S.V. Ovcharov
The article analyzes critically the algorithm of evaluating the expected frequency of main pipelines decompression included into the Methods for Defining the Design Values of the Risk of Fire at Production Facilities under Ministry of Emergency of Russia. At the same time versus the algorithm it stands up for the 12-year-experience-tested grade-factor method (developed by OOO «Gazprom VNIIGAZ») for forecasting frequency of accidents by application of the domestic statistics related to accident risk of the Russian main pipelines with account of various affecting factors.
