Method of Conducting Excavations in the Mines Hazardous on Methane

It is shown that many types of substances in coal composition and finest particles newly formed as a result of water infusion in a seam enter into a reaction and bridge cracks, microcracks, nanocracks preventing methane escape. Preliminary decrease of seam gas content will result in safe increase of excavation conducting rate.

To the Issue of Control for the State of Dust-Explosion Proofness of Coal Mines Excavations

It is noted that for industrial and operative control of air dust content in excavations and coal mines production premises the express-dust counters and dust concentration measuring transmitters are used, which allow to define air dust content and dust settlement in the excavations, as well as to use relevant preventive measures on decreasing the probability of dust explosions.
